Reverend Celeste Tolliver-Kelley was born and reared in Hamtramck, Michigan, and has one son, LaMont, who is the joy of her life. She received her in Paralegal Studies from Macomb Community College in 2002 and her Bible Degree in May, 2008 from Birmingham Bible Institute.
The Lord first anointed Reverend Celeste musically, at age 3, and she obtained her foundations at The Historic Little Rock Baptist Church (Dr. Jim Holley, Pastor). Reverend Celeste has served as the Minister of Music for Christian Tabernacle Church (Dr. James L. Morman, Pastor) and Second Corinthian Baptist Church (Rev. Henry H. Hall, Jr., Pastor). After years of serving musically, the Lord anointed her for a higher calling where she was licensed and ordained to preach the gospel by Dr. James L. Morman.
She currently serves as Team Leader, Church Musician and from 2007 - 2009 served as Assistant to the Pastor at the Williams Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (Rev. James C. Jones, Pastor). She is also a Featured Writer for Victorious Voices and Columnist for The Blessed Room Magazine (www.TheBlessedRoom.com). She has been featured on Spotlight radio and television interviews on "Super Star Friday" with Sean Hardin and Antone "Choir Boy" Bell, Detroit Riot Radio with Areina Walker, Shekinah Women of Beauty with Dr. Marilyn Todman, "Deliverance in God" with Prophetess Martina Wade, Always In His Presence with Pastor Ovella Davis, Intimate Conversations with Ella Curry of EDC Creations, guest of the Black Authors Network and has made many stops of Guest Appearances as she travels on Destiny's Road. She is currently hosting the Write The Vision - Victorious Visionaries Radio Show on 88.1 FM - WHPR (Detroit, Highland Park and Hamtramck, MI) where she can be heard on Mondays at 5:30 PM. She has appeared on Dr. Stacia Pierce's International Women's Success Conference Dream Panel as a noted radio personality and radio show host. She is also listed on MinistryWomen.net (www.MinistryWomen.net/MinisterCelesteKelley) and is listed online in Cambridge Who’s Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs, as well as in the 2009 Edition of Who's Who in Black Detroit.
The "Sister Girl..." Series was motivated by the calling that God has on Reverend Celeste’s life - to help and encourage women and girls. As her desire to write a book has come to fruition by the grace of God alone, Reverend Celeste is committed to carrying out His purpose. The Series is now nationally distributed and Reverend Celeste is living her dream in being a blessing to women all over the United States. As Co-Founder and Director of The S.I.S.T.A.H.S.
