This quintessential woman is a breast cancer survivor and an award winning poet and author. Ms.deLeon- Lewis is dedicating her efforts to empower the Caribbean and African American Community in its fight against cancer.Through her in-your-face poetry, her songwriting, motivational speaking, and through the media she boldly challenges cancer.
This breast cancer activist is also Brooklyn's team leader of the Legislative Ambassadors for the American Cancer Society, and the P.R person for Mahogany Sisters Network,Inc. Queens, New York chapter of the Sisters Network, Inc.
